Republic of Ireland’s Dan Casey and Richie Ryan were both yellow-carded in this ill-tempered match in Northern California. Casey was yellow-carded after eigth minutes and Ryan was yellow-carded four minutes into time added on in the first half as El Paso Locomotive gave up a goal to Rodrigo Lopez which cancelled their earlier strike by Sonupe. Martinez (84′) and Keko (90-+1′) scored two late goals to give Sacramento Republic the win. Ryan was one one of three El Paso players yellow-carded in the incident just before halftime and there were a total of seven yellow cards handed out during the match, four of them in the first half to El Paso.
