Drogheda 10 Cú Chulainn 11 Drogheda were leading 4-3 at the end of the first quarter and had a 9-3 lead mid-way through the third quarter, then Cú Chulainn fought back, by the end of the third quarter it was 9-7, and in the fourth goals from Peter Jordan and Brendy Campfield (penalty) levelled the game at 10-10 before Decky McKerr put Cú Chulainn 11-10 up and with heroic defending in the last seconds holding out for their first win of the season.
